  • How many people can sleep in the yurt?

    Our 13 ft yurt can comfortably accommodate up to two guests, as it is furnished with a full-sized bed. If necessary, our bubble offers enough space to accommodate a small air mattress for children.

    PLEASE NOTE: Due to low ceilings inside, the yurt cannot accommodate a pack n play.

  • How many People Can Sleep in the Bubble?

    Our Bubble is designed to sleep 2 people, and is perfect to enjoy a comfortable night's sleep under the stars.

    While our 12 ft Bubble offers ample space, it is primarily designed for two people, and though it could fit a small pack n play if necessary, we do not recommend it for optimal comfort and safety.

  • How many people can the camper sleep?

    Our camper can accommodate two guests comfortably, with the option to convert the table into a bed for a third person if needed.

  • Is there electricity?

    NO. Please note that our yurt or bubble do not have electricity, as we provide a glamping experience that is more akin to traditional camping with the added luxury of a real bed to sleep in and added amenities. We recommend bringing a battery pack to charge your phones, and battery operated devices such as a fan if desired, as there is no electrical outlets.

  • Is there a bathroom?

    YES! We have provided an outhouse conveniently located near the parking lot area.

  • Will we have access to showers?

    Unfortunately, we do not have showers or running water on site at this time. We recommend checking out local gyms just a few miles away, that offer day passes for around $10, which include shower access. Additionally guests will need to provide their own drinking and dish water. We recommend jugs of water or water bottles which you can often find at your local grocery store for drinking and cleaning water. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

  • What time is check in/out?

    Check-in time is at 3 PM and check-out time is at 11 AM. If you require an early check-in or late checkout, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance.

  • Do you allow pets?

    NO. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate pets inside the yurt, bubble, or on the property. While we love animals, some guests may have allergies that can be triggered by the presence of pets. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in keeping the space clean, safe, and comfortable for all guests.

  • Is smoking allowed?

    NO. For the safety and comfort of all guests, smoking, as well as e-cigarettes and vapes, are not permitted inside the yurt or bubble. Thanks for your understanding.

  • What time is quiet hours?

    Certain guidelines are in place to ensure a peaceful and comfortable stay for all guests, including a quiet time policy starting at 11 pm. This also means that no loud music is permitted during this time.

  • Can I wear my shoes inside?

    NO. For the comfort and cleanliness of all guests, we kindly request that shoes not be worn inside the yurt or bubble. We recommend bringing a pair of indoor shoes or slippers to wear instead.

  • What type of safety do you have?

    For your safety, we've provided several items inside the yurt and bubble, including carbon monoxide and smoke detectors, a fire extinguisher, and a first aid kit. We take safety seriously and want to ensure that you're prepared in case of any emergencies.

  • Can I have friends come visit me?

    YES! Although our yurt can only accommodate up to 2 guests for overnight stays, you are welcome to invite a friend or two to join you for a day of hanging out around the campfire. Please note that we do not permit large parties on the premises.

  • Can I bring my snowmobiles?

    NO. To maintain the natural and peaceful environment of our property, we do not permit any recreational vehicles, including snowmobiles, ATVs, or other similar vehicles. However, we do offer a parking lot for regular vehicles, ensuring safe and convenient parking for our guests.

  • Can I bring my own wood?

    YES! Firewood can be purchased near the parking lot, and guests may also bring their own wood if they prefer. Please note that we only accept cash for firewood purchases.

    Please note: For the safety of our guests and to preserve the natural surroundings, we do not allow burning of trash or garbage on the premises. Additionally, bonfires are not permitted, and flames should not exceed a height of 3 feet. Fires must be completely extinguished before leaving the premises.

  • What food should I bring?

    We offer hot dog and marshmallow roasting sticks, as well as a cast iron pizza pocket maker at each site for making hot sandwiches, pies, pizzas, or any other creative dishes you can think of. We recommend bringing food items that can be stored in a cooler or dry goods like sandwiches, chips, or other camping foods. Guests must bring their own water. We also provide a grill grate for cooking over the fire for things like steaks, chicken, or veggies. Please note that guests are responsible for bringing their own plates and silverware for meals.

  • What is there to do in the area?

    Guests can enjoy a variety of activities on the premises, including snowshoeing and cross-country skiing in the winter. Fishing on the nearby lakes, and connecting to the nearby biking trails in the summer. We also recommend bringing things like yard games, croquet, or card and board games (we do provide some inside each unit) to play around camp. Guests can enjoy good conversations around the fire pit, swinging in our outdoor hammock chairs, or relaxing in our yurt/bubble

    In addition, We also provide a booklet inside the yurt with our favorite local restaurants, coffee shops, and activities in the area recommended by the locals.

  • Do you have any other locations?

    We are thrilled to announce that we now offer two fantastic accommodation options for your extraordinary getaway! The cozy yurt and the Destination Constellation bubble, both located just a short walk away from each other. For groups or small families of four, you can now book both units together or just choose one. Please note that when booking both units together, they are designed for separate sleeping arrangements. As such, we recommend that young children be attended by an adult during their stay for a safe and enjoyable experience. Join us in Maple Lake, MN, for an unforgettable experience!

  • What is there to do at Simple Stays?

    If you're planning to stay at Simple Stays, you'll be happy to know that there are plenty of fun activities and relaxation options available for you to enjoy. You can choose from a selection of board games and card games that we provide, or you can sit around the fire and make s'mores and enjoy some delicious food. If you happen to bring cross country skis or snow shoes, you can also enjoy a great skiing or snowshoeing experience in the winter. Additionally, you can unwind in hammocks and indulge in a good book.
